Responding to Reality #7

Sunday, May 18th, 2014 aka 5/18 @ 5:18 p.m.

Every body wants…?!?

Love & respect…

Does every body have it??

Respect is “earned.”

You cannot make “command” anyone to love you (for real) from the heart or respect you (for real) from the heart!

Being “lovable” and being “respectable”… positively impacts all reality…:)

Everybody brings something to the table… no matter where or when (hungry or not)… why not bring:

Continue putting up with one another freely and forgiving one another freely even if anyone has a cause for complaint against another. Just as Jehovah (Yahweh) freely forgave you, you must also do the same.” Col. 3:13

Reality shaping… living/showing love & respect..:)

We can be our own worst critic…No one has the ability to “accurately” measure/judge their own personal positive worth/true value…or that of someone else…that’s a divine ability: Only God can read my heart..know my actual (inner) value in its entirety… does it really matter what I think of myself?! Does it really matter what anyone else thinks? opinions about me?

“regarding whatever our hearts may condemn us in, because God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.” 1John 3:20

STILL HERE… alive:

Loving, respecting life et al!

Treasure & Trash

Happy or hateful heart?!…hmmmmm

vulgarity vs. purity

hearts speak…trash talkin’? treasure talkin’? vulgar? pure?

some are tnt…just itching to explode, eh?..

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.— Matthew 6:21

In a sense, a person’s earthly treasure could include prestige, fame, or power. Jesus made a point similar to the one Solomon made in the book of Ecclesiastes—worldly treasures are not lasting. As you have likely seen in the world around you, all such treasures are perishable and can be easily lost. Professor F. Dale Bruner writes of such treasures: “It is well known that fame is fickle. Last Saturday’s hero is next season’s has-been. This year’s financial success is next year’s bankruptcy. . . . [Jesus] loves human beings. He urges them to avoid the inevitable despair that comes with evanescent glory. It doesn’t last. Jesus does not want [his] disciples [to be] disappointed. ‘Every day the world turns over on someone who was just sitting on top of it.’” Though most people would agree with those comments, how many allow the reality behind them to alter their approach to life? Will you?

emotions are fickle..they come and go..why? let fleeting stuff i.e. anger/despair destroy you and those around you?

A key point is this: Our being truly successful does not depend on our achievements or position in the eyes of the world.

You may not be able to control your circumstances completely, but you can control how you deal with them. ~Find Real Success in life

Redirect Your efforts for lasting….treasure!

i’m only pure talkin’:)
