At times, in my life, I’ve used multiple sticky note timely reminders… in various conspicuous spots… for needed encouragement/”eyes on the prize” singular focus to keep going!
Please keep going Reader:) never give up in doing the compassionate-appropriate-good-loving thing to do, speak, think… especially when exhausted, tested, persecuted, insulted… discouraged or at the seemingly end of your rope…or rejected by Others and their short-sightedness, immaturity, lack of accurate knowledge, etc.
Wow:) will get my cake, fruit cake -lol… and eat it too…:) Yummy!!
Also, there is counsel, a warning… verse 11: “”Woe to the wicked one! Disaster will befall him, For what his hands have done will be done to him.”
My limited diet today… made myself oven-baked Kale chips with Pink Salt and Ginger (and for breakfast?! YEP!;))
Tonight, for dinner, Chato made Brussels Sprouts.
Washed Kale chips down with Chamomile tea and Sprouts with Green tea with Thyme.
Yucky!-lol (You may be thinking?)… but Kale to me is like Spinach to Popeye!:) Though, yeah, i resemble Olive; teased much as a skinny kid for resembling her (especially when Popeye movie came out.) ;)…In other words, healthy mind/body food “spiritual” and physical helps me in my fine fight of compassion/Agape Love Living Every Day…(BTW: NOT endorsing physical violence whatsoever as any solution to problems. Hate, violence, war make misery and more problems, DUH!)
Please “research” the multi-benefits of Kale and Brussels Sprouts… and Spinach… and anything else You may be thinking of consuming (mentally or bodily) or are already consuming as You read this post.
I haven’t been feeling well lately and needed an energy boost. Feeding my mind/body-body/mind nutritious food is good for my physical and spiritual health. This wise-practical-admonition “protects” my mental/emotional/psychological health and “positive” attitude and “well-founded” “Bible-based” hope for the future…
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste,*(pure) whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering*(or “thinking about, meditating upon”) these things.”
Just like i wanna be “selective” about what i eat for health reasons (i.e., my quality and quantity of life)…and to feel good, be healthy, etc…There is so MUCH mind-poison and depressing-propaganda “readily” available on and off-line…i do well to ask myself: about any reading material/mind-food, etc.
Will this pass the Philippians 4:8 test??
Will this add to my wellness??
Will this add to my peace??
Will this take away from my wellness??
