I prefer looking forward than looking back when it comes to my life.
When it comes to learning, I prefer looking back and forth in the living-relevant book; the Bible. (Find a translation You like and read it. I like the New World Translation Of the Holy Scriptures Revised 2013 for its readability and accuracy. And oh! Yeah cause its unpaid translation committee wasn’t motivated by money unlike those who tamper with truth/text to please financial backers’ biased religious views.)
photo yesterday, Sunday of a tangible generous Gift (a rare treasure from my only female Cousin; one of her most cherished possessions according to Her); am missing the loss/all losses, etc.) i call it/gift– the “flask of Hope” “Judah” this side is a carving of a Lion. Most things i wear hold a significant/symbolic meaning to me: a tangible/visual reminder of an intangible value.
There is the tangible need and the intangible. To me, the most important: our spiritual need. When this is not met, terrible stunting occurs…and MUCH suffering and pain.:(
From my POV:
the terrible(s) = spiritual starvation
the terrific(s) = spiritual abundance
the horrific(s) of humanity aka horrific multi-level suffering of humans/life need to be addressed 1. spiritually then/(and) 2. physically.
(i.e. teach (process) to fish not just give 1 actual fish. Feed for a day or feed for a lifetime. Have a lifetime/expand a lifetime. Spiritual food/physical food essential. Basics.)
the terrific(s) of humanity aka terrific multi-level sweetness of humans/life is result of both spiritual/physical needs met…synchronicity?
Seems to me: cannot address tangible and ignore intangible. Seems to me: tangible problems are rooted in the intangible.
Stiff solutions don’t ultimately work. When we take the stiff approach to anything…we can be easily controlled say by the problem(s).
One method to tackle real world problems is to look to real world (i.e. nature/creature) for solutions.
This is “a” brief example:
The world’s “currents” …impact us all. So what i’ve learned from Sea Horse’s tail …”being able to twist and untwist with minimal energy”…f~l~e~x~i~b~i~l~i~t~y protects me from being broken by tight spaces aka complex circumstances, etc. and makes me strong enough to tackle the task(s) at tail/hand. 🙂
