Would You agree? A LOT takes place out of the public eye!
Just because i haven’t “personally” witnessed X doesn’t mean X didn’t or hasn’t occurred?!
Government is on the minds of many. Including “my” mind…though, I am politically neutral and a conscientious objector. It may seem like a paradox…because I acknowledge: good government can be the solution (to what ails). My description of “good” government may differ from yours…so, i stay neutral.
I will NOT be voting in any election any where on Earth. (You can count on it.) Honestly, for me, it is the wisest/safest choice. I am able to “peacefully” embrace/engage all-fellow-fragile-life (globally) and enjoy a real brotherhood of humanity by remaining neutral in the political controversies of any place on any day. (and I’ve explored/studied/researched/meditated on this topic a lot: Public/Private Neutrality.)
DO YOU ever wonder what it might have been like to live during some great turning point in history? Many do. But consider: If you had lived in such a momentous time, would you have personally witnessed the key events that brought about change? Perhaps not. Events that spell doom for old regimes and fill the pages of history books often take place out of the public eye. In a sense, much of history unfolds behind closed doors
—in throne rooms, in private council chambers, or in government offices. Nonetheless, such changes affect millions of lives.
2 What about the greatest event ever to occur in the history of the world? That event has touched millions of lives. Yet, it took place out of human view. We refer, of course, to the birth in heaven of God’s Kingdom, the long-promised Messianic government that will soon bring this whole world system to its end. Read Daniel 2:34, 35:
“You looked on until a stone was cut out, not by hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay and crushed them. 35 At that time the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold were, all together, crushed and became like the chaff from the summer threshing floor, and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a large mountain, and it filled the whole earth.”
- “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever, 45 just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands, and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy.”
Since humans did not witness that momentous birth, should we conclude that […] God hid the event from mankind? Or, rather, did he prepare his loyal people for it beforehand?
