Cooked Mussels, Green Tea, and Dark Chocolate

A late afternoon lunch (or early dinner) @ 4:20 p.m….Yummy. I am starting my second cup of Green Tea and second bite of Dark Chocolate! 🙂

(Sorry! to any sensitive Eaters-Readers:) out there (who may be offended by my consuming choices). A girl’s gotta eat, correct? 😉 I eat in moderation when I am hungry and stop when I am full; thus, the late lunch (after physical work) and 2nd cup of tea (the salty mussels made me a little thirsty for more). (Your lunch and dinner is probably more tasty than mine, huh? EnJOY!)

Sip, sip, sip…

My mind is thirsty for more too…How about You?? Again, Sorry! to any sensitive Eaters-Readers:) out there (who may be offended by my mind consuming choices). A girl’s mind has to eat, too, correct? 😉 Thank You for trying some new veggies/tastes.

(Or perhaps, your mind diet requires a spiritual supplement?!)

Now on to the Real Eating… aka spiritual nourishment… read the following a while back and it ties in nicely with previous posts: the-end-of-framework-part-1/the-end-of-framework-part-2/end-of-framework-part-3/

Bon Appetite!:)… sip, sip, sip…(my green highlights of excerpted points of interest)

“They are no part of the world.”—John 17:16.

People who do not share our faith may feel a special loyalty to their country, tribe, or culture or even to their national sports team. Challenges to such loyalties have resulted in competition and rivalry and, in extreme cases, bloodshed and genocide. The way that people resolve these issues, for better or for worse, might touch us or our families personally  because we are inescapably a part of human society. Since God made man with an innate sense of justice, the decisions that human governments make may offend our sense of what is right and fair. (Gen. 1:27; Deut. 32:4) How do we react under such circumstances? It would be all too easy to take sides in worldly issues and be drawn into controversy.

And the easy way… is NOT always the smartest or wisest way, eh?!:)

The institutions that govern human society may pressure citizens to take sides in conflicts that arise. True Christians cannot do so. We do not participate in the political controversies of this world; nor do we take up arms. (Matt. 26:52) We are not swayed by efforts to involve us in exalting any portion of […] world over another. (2 Cor. 2:11) Being no part of the world, we rise above worldly rivalries.—Read John 15:18, 19.

Example of Sage of Peace/Compassion…

If you are ever in doubt as to how you ought to behave in any given situation, it would be wise to ask yourself, ‘What would Jesus have done?’ The nation in which Jesus lived was made up of people from various regions—Judea, Galilee, Samaria, and others. Bible accounts reveal that there were tensions between people of these different areas. (John 4:9) Tensions also existed between Pharisees and Sadducees (Acts 23:6-9), between the people and the tax collectors (Matt. 9:11), and between those who had received a Rabbinic education and those who had not. (John 7:49) In the first century, Israel was ruled by the Romans, whose presence was deeply resented by the local people. While Jesus championed religious truth […], he never encouraged his disciples to foster rivalries. (John 4:22) On the contrary, he urged them to love all men as their neighbor.—Luke 10:27.

Why did Jesus not endorse common Jewish prejudices? Because neither he nor his Father takes sides in this world’s controversies. […]God designed humans in such a way that they could produce different races. Neither Jehovah nor Jesus exalts one race, nationality, or language above another. (Acts 10:34, 35; Rev. 7:9, 13, 14) We must follow their perfect example.—Matt. 5:43-48.

In NO WAY do I want to endorse common prejudices!!!…(i.e. politics, certain controversies exalt one race, nationality or language above others.) That’s partially why I am impartially no part of the world…I stay politically neutral. I love all my fellow-fragile-life-brothers-and-sisters-globally and wish them all PEACE and longevity!! It doesn’t matter what peer-pressure, family-pressure, community-pressure, national-pressure, political-power-struggle-pressure, etc. we can all rise above worldly rivalries! I cannot kill my brother or sister just because they live in another country or speak another language or eat different food!

Sip, sip, sip…

Note how some first-century Christians reacted to one divisive issue that arose within the congregation. Individuals in Corinth were saying: “‘I belong to Paul,’ ‘But I to Apollos,’ ‘But I to Cephas,’ ‘But I to Christ.’” Whatever the underlying issue, the apostle Paul was indignant about its effect. “Is the Christ divided?” he asked. What was the solution to such disruptive thinking? Paul exhorted the Christians: “Now I urge you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you should all speak in agreement and that there should be no divisions among you, but that you may be completely united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.” Neither should there be divisions of any kind in […] (True) Christian congregation today.—1 Cor. 1:10-13; read Romans 16:17, 18  “Now I urge you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who create divisions and causes for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them For men of that sort are slaves, not of our Lord Christ, but of their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattering speech they seduce the hearts of unsuspecting ones.”

Some of us are being seduced everyday…by the political and religious and big business smooth-talkers, etc. Don’t be an unsuspecting one/pawn doing the mindless bidding of the puppet masters (in their various ego-power struggles/controversies)!

Has your upbringing or environment exposed you to national or regional loyalties? Do any such feelings still linger in your heart? Christians should not allow nationalistic fervor to taint their view of others. But what if you realize that you do have negative thoughts toward people of other nations, cultures, languages, or races? Then it would certainly be profitable to meditate on how Jehovah (True God of Agape/Compassion) views nationalism and prejudice.—Read Romans 12:2  And stop being molded by this system of things, but be transformed by making your mind over, so that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Questions for Reflections:

Who is molding my mind? This system of things/world.. aka soon to end framework of human society??

Do I have or foster attitude “mine is best” …holding partisan allegiances??

Am I truly FREE…on all levels from: divisive, prideful, competitive practices that dominate today’s hurtful/violent/unloving present world/framework of human society??

 PEACE & Unity to YOU:)

Avoiding Pollution

“You must not pollute the land in which you live, for [the shedding of human] blood pollutes the land.”—Num. 35:33, 34.

Thank You Reader, Fellow-Fragile-Life, for Choosing Compassion Everyday and treating All-Fellow-Fragile-Life the way You would want to be treated. 🙂 (Jesus, Sage of Peace, taught this Golden Rule of Living Kindness, Compassion, Forgiveness, and Agape Love.)

Don’t You think HIGH respect for life…results in safe-r choices of actions and interactions with all fragile-life on the planet?!

Bible education promotes peace and respecting life and not shedding blood. It promotes compassion and forgiveness and respect and love for life and fellow-life globally!:)

This topic…reminds me of this great illustration read:

“Happy are the peacemakers,” Jesus said. (Matthew 5:9) Jesus practiced what he preached by promoting nonviolence and taking a message of peace to people of diverse religious backgrounds. (Matthew 26:52) Those who responded were drawn into an unbreakable bond of love. (Colossians 3:14) But was Jesus’ objective merely to build bridges among people of various backgrounds so that they could get along in peace? Did he join with others in their religious practices?

The religious leaders of the sects of the Pharisees and the Sadducees viciously opposed Jesus—even sought to kill him. How did he react? Jesus instructed his disciples: “Let them be. Blind guides is what they are.” (Matthew 15:14) Jesus refused to acknowledge spiritual brotherhood with such individuals.

The International Space Station—a technological wonder orbiting the earth—is the result of the united efforts of some 15 nations. Could you imagine this project being accomplished if the participating nations did not agree on what blueprint to use?

That, essentially, is the situation with the modern-day interfaith movement. Although cooperation and respect are touted, there is no agreed-upon blueprint for building faith. As a result, moral and doctrinal issues remain as divisive as ever.

The Bible contains God’s standards, which are like a blueprint. We can build our lives on what the Bible says. Those who have embraced it have overcome racial and religious prejudices and have learned to work together in peace and unity. Foretelling this, God said: “I will change the language of the peoples to a pure language, so that all of them may call on the name of Jehovah, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.” Unity results from the “pure language,” God’s standard of worship.—Zephaniah 3:9; Isaiah 2:2-4. Happy Week-end…working together in Peace & Unity!:)

The Order of Parental Glory…(check it out:)…excerpted…Jw.org Newsroom:

The Order of “Parental Glory” was instituted by presidential decree in May 2008. Russia awards this honor to parents who have raised at least seven children and have shown extraordinary care for their family’s health and education, as well as their physical, mental, and moral development. Families awarded the Order are considered models that strengthen the family institution.

NEW YORK—On May 31, 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of “Parental Glory” to Valeriy and Tatiana Novik, Jehovah’s Witnesses from Karelia, who raised eight children, during a ceremony in Moscow at the Kremlin.

Newsweek article…

“Families like yours, large and full of generous parental love, embody centuries-old traditions of empathy and kindness, show through their example that no obstacles stand before the desire to act constructively and do good, and offer beacons for those reflecting on their own choice of future road,” Putin said at the ceremony.

“We view this award as an acknowledgment that the free Bible education provided by Jehovah’s Witnesses helps parents and their children to be productive citizens not only in Russia but all over the world,” David A. Semonian, a spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses at their world headquarters in New York, said in a statement last week. “We hope that this award presented by President Putin is considered on July 17, 2017, when the Russian Supreme Court reviews the decision to liquidate the Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia.” [excerpted article: JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES IN RUSSIA RECEIVE PARENTING AWARDS FROM PUTIN, SPARKING HOPE ON BAN APPEAL Newsweek]

Loving People, Loving Planet :)

What did i find today?? (what was i looking for?) Each new day: gotta get my fill of positive-mind-music…aka happy-brain-food that touches the heart…and gets my blood pumping. (Energizing my Compassion through Music!:)

Not sure how i found the following, You Tube piece, “exactly” …”wishing” i could speak all these beautiful languages…languages from loving people and languages from loving planet!:)

(Initially, i had trouble recognizing the various languages sung, good thing they are listed at the end, huh?;)

I’ve gotten lazy (or is it ? just too busy w/other daily survival pursuits)…with my language fluency goals like learning Haitian Creole and ASL, etc., etc..i have many multilingual friends and it would be wonderful to better communicate in their “specific” heart languages (other than just English..my heart language/native tongue). As an outgoing communicator, feeling so limited..(by my lack of fluency/lack of time to acquire) though, it’s “en-courag(e)-ing” to understand/know/realize the language of compassion/True Agape Love courageously transcends all barriers…(including my frustrating limitations).

The adorable animals and scenic landscapes and loving voices singing in heart languages–made my mind, heart, face SMILE today 4/20/15!! Hoping it will encourage You and bring You a 🙂 and chuckle! …(was thinking how everything: the planet, flowers, animals, trees… sing (from and to the heart) in their own particular way…Praising Yahweh/God of Compassion.)

Different languages singing in compassionate harmony/unity…

Loving the People, Loving the Planet…Loving the Maker.
